چکیده

Objective: To compare hemodynamic changes (systolic blood pressure and pulse) after intubation with Macintosh McCoy laryngoscopes.
Study Design: Randomised control trial (Clinicaltrials.gov: NCT05133375)
Place Duration of Study: Combined Military Hospital, Jhelum Pakistan, from Apr to Oct 2021.
Methodology: A group 272 patients reporting the operation theatre were selected divided into Group-A B using lottery method. All had ASA class I II score Mallampati no comorbid conditions. laryngoscope was used in Group-A, Group-B. Before intubation, systolic pulse measured, as well 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 3 minutes following intubation. In addition, a comparison both groups regarding made.
 Results: The study mean age 34.93±9.66 years. increase (20%) heart rate significantly higher Macintosh-Group 23(16.9%), than McCoy-Group 8(4.4%), (p=0.001), 20% also found be compared McCoy-Group, 26(19.1%) versus 8(6.6%), (p=0.002).
Conclusion: According our research, blade is safer mode terms response.

Evaluation of intra ocular pressure and hemodynamic change following intubation with Maccoy, Macintosh and Video laryngoscope

Background & Objective: The induction of anesthesia, laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation can be associated with adverse hemodynamic response and increased intraocular pressure. The aim of this study was to evaluate intraocular pressure and hemodynamic changes after laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation with three methods of laryngoscopy (Macintosh, Maccoy and Video laryngoscope).Materia...

Opioid sparing during endotracheal intubation using McCoy laryngoscope in neurosurgical patients: the comparison of haemodynamic changes with Macintosh blade in a randomized trial.

BACKGROUND There is conflicting data in literature to show that the McCoy laryngoscope is less stressful and opioids can actually be avoided during laryngoscopy and intubation with the use of this laryngoscope. AIM A comparison of hemodynamic changes with McCoy vs Macintosh laryngoscope.. SETTINGS AND DESIGN 180 ASA I and II neurosurgical patients undergoing elective surgery for space occup...
